Active and agile, despite being thick set and short legged, the Scottie, as the breed is more familiarly known, is courageous and highly intelligent. They are loyal, faithful, dignified, independent and reserved dogs.

The close lying double coat requires regular attention.

Scotties are inclined to be stubborn and need firm, gently handling from an earlier age or they will dominate the household.

All our puppies are now vet checked on a weekly basis and are sold with vaccination card having had their first vaccinations, with our own vet.
