Little Rascals specialise in a number of breeds. Here we aim to provide you with some information to assist you with selecting the right breed for you, your family and your environment.

The poodle comes in three sizes, standard, miniature and toy and a number of colours. Some countries place the toy poodle in the toy group. The breed has certain unusual features, chief among which is that the coat is single and does not shed. It is often recommended as a suitable dog for those people who suffer from an allergy to dog hair or dust.

The poodle’s intelligence is renowned, he can be taught all manner of skills, from water-retrieving to circus tricks. He appears to enjoy performing and the praise and laughter that result.

The poodles shape is common to all three heights, with a proud, chiselled face and skull, an elegant neck, and a sound body and legs. The tail is often docked to half its normal length but this is not compulsory.

The standard poodle tends to be a real tomboy of a dog, racing about fields of park, but returning rapidly is reasonably well trained.

All our puppies are now vet checked on a weekly basis and are sold with vaccination card having had their first vaccinations, with our own vet.
